Sorry for the silence

G'day DAers,
I'm sorry for my silence but I'm in Sydney now and australian fares for internet connections are really crazy. Here doesn't exist a flat. Anyway I'm always around and I have not so much time to spend in front of the screen. I'm shooting photos. Yesterday I've been to the Tangaro Zoo and I made some shot that I like. You will see them the next month, when I will be back home (if I ever come back...). Now I'm planning to go Bondi. And in a couple of days I guess I will fly to Tasmania. Then, I still do not know. Maybe Darwin, maybe Perth, maybe the desert, maybe New Zealand. Do you have any advice?

if you get to victoria, you won't be disappointed. i spent most of my time in victoria and southern au. i was not too keen on sydney, but then again i'm not a big on cities... ha
did you see the elephants at the zoo in sydney? i was there the day they were arriving last year.
I definitely would recommend New Zealand too if you have time and are in the mood for lots of nature photography, but it's a sizable country, and if you've seen the European Alps much it may seem somewhat more of the same. But the flora and fauna are much different (as they also are in Tasmania) and there's rain forest on one side and near-desert on the other. Anyway... if your time is limited you may want to stick to Australia, since there are so many distinctive desert environments... I'd kill to go to Perth and of course Ayers Rock, the Olgas and the north coast and... whew, pay me no mind, I'm just crazy because I can't travel these days!!
