Post-election shame

Journal Entry: Wed Apr 16, 2008, 4:32 PM
I usually do not talk about politics, not because I do not like politics but because I do not like politicians. Anyway, two days ago Silvio Berlusconi won the elections, again, and I can not exempt from showing some basic ideas. If he was an unknown newcomer promising paradises, probably I would not surprised by seeing him winning, but I wonder who is the man that does not know the past of mr. Berlusconi. I really can not understand. There must be only two possibilities: 1 - people still do not know who is this man and how he became the owner of all he has; 2 - people knows everything on him but, for some reason, simply does not care about that. So? What should I assume from this? Are we idiots? Maybe. Are we unethical? Maybe. Only one thing I can say for sure: we deserve it! Yes, we deserve it.

Nemmeno io me lo aspettavo a questi livelli...

In fact I could not believe Bush could be elected for the second time. I thought the dirty counting of the votes in Florida was enough to send Bush home but I was wrong. Plainly idiots don't live only in Italy. Anyway, since I live in a too small world, I want to be positive and pray for Obama. Here, in Italy, we have not an Obama...

In Canada too, we elected Jean Charest more than twice... and he always gave us shit!

People simply are stupids!

:eatshit:
